Two things,
done well
eVisitRx is built for two transactional needs: prescription refills and medical notes. Here's what each covers, and what it doesn't.
Prescription refills
Renew a medication you already take, without a clinic visit. A New Brunswick nurse practitioner reviews your request and, if appropriate, sends the prescription to your pharmacy.
- Stable, long-term maintenance medications
- Sent electronically to the pharmacy you choose
- Reviewed by a licensed NB nurse practitioner
Medical notes
Request a note for work or school online. A nurse practitioner reviews your situation and, where appropriate, completes the note and sends it directly to you.
- Notes confirming a short absence
- Completed by a licensed NB nurse practitioner
- Sent straight to you, no clinic trip
What eVisitRx is not for
eVisitRx does not diagnose or treat new or worsening symptoms, and it can't refill controlled substances (such as opioids, stimulants, or certain sedatives). For a new health concern, contact your provider or a walk-in clinic. For an emergency, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department.
